The category Walnuts describes the edible seed of any tree of the genus Juglans (family Juglandaceae), particularly the Persian or English walnut, Juglans regia. The category has been subdivided into Fresh walnuts, which still have their shell, and shelled walnuts, without their shell. Any product with additional ingredients used as extra taste (chocolate, sugar or spices), should be put in another category.
