OFF uses the term recipe in various projects. A recipe is not exactly the same as an ingredient list, but can be used in relation with an ingredient list and a category.

The recipe of a product is the listing of all the ingredients used in a product with their amounts. 
  • The amount can expressed as a fraction or percentage of the total product weight of the ingredients as used at product creation. Thus any processing during product creation that might influence the weight of a specific ingredient is not incorporated.
  • The ingredients of a recipe should be order by weight.
