[FIX ME]

Welcome on the Open Food Facts wiki! 🥳

What is the Open Food Facts wiki ?

The Open Food Facts wiki is a collaborative platform where volunteers and contributors from around the world gather to document and share information about food products. The wiki is part of the broader Open Food Facts project, which aims to create a free and open database of food products from around the globe.

How to contribute ?

One of the first steps you can take is to create your user page.

To edit and contribute to pages, first 🔐 log in on Open Food Facts with your account and then come back here and refresh the page: you will then be automatically signed in.

If you don't know about wiki editing, see media wiki help on editing (or its general help, but keep in mind that we may have some local peculiarity, like login for instance)

To edit a page use the "edit" button, you are provided with a visual editor. Don't try too be fancy, a wiki is about content. Structure your pages, try to do coherent set of edits.

To add a page a good way is to simply create a link to your new page on a page, save the page, and then clicking on the link will propose you to create the page. (ex. wiki.openfoodfacts.org/new-workshop)

Important tip: If visual edition is not working (the edit link on pages), verify that you are in Desktop mode, and not mobile mode: if you see a "Desktop" link at the bottom of the page, click on it. (It might also be translated as "deactivate mobile view", like in french: "Désactiver la version mobile").
