Goal 🎯
Let as many different nationalities benefit from the Open Food Facts database in their native language! 🌎
Needs / Missions
- Copywriting for the Open Food Facts blog / Website about local issues/events…
- Translations using Crowdin and the online taxonomy translation system
- Enhancing taxonomies for your language or country (food labels, food categories, ingredients…)
- Coordinating with the communication team to ensure media coverage in new countries
- Coordinating with the communication team to maintain our localized social media channels 📣
- Reviewing translations pull requests on the Server, Mobile App, Web Content, Blog Content, Robotoff and more
- Coordinating with the communication team to publish localized blogposts on Wordpress once they are translated
- Coordinating with the communication team to localize visuals (communication, blogposts) using Figma and Canva
- Coordinating with the communication team to localize the Knowledge Base
