Definition
Apricot nectars consist of the juice and puree from Apricots (Prunus armeniaca). Apricot nectars consist of 40-60% fruit diluted with water and added sugars. Apricot nectars might add preservatives, like ascorbic acid, citric acid or lemon juice.

- apricot, from apricot juice and/or apricot puree;
- water (otherwise it is not a beverage);
- added sugar, only very few have no added sugar;
Optional ingredients
- vitamin C (ascorbic acid (E300)) - also as preservative;
- citric acid (E330);

- The base recipe is apricot+water+add-sugar (87%);
- The base with added ascorbic acid (56%);
- The base with added citric acid or lemon juice (20%);
